Inverted Eye

Natural mineral crystals, acrylic resin, paper fibre, inkjet ink, textile fibre, metal, pigment, oil pallet.

Installation placed in the Natural Museum garden’s ponds, as part of the exhibition Orientering -a group show in public space initiated by three off Bergen's artist-run exhibitions spaces: Entrée, Palmera and Tag Team Studio. They have collaborated on a group exhibition that is taking place exclusively outdoors in public space. May - July 2018.

“In her work she incorporates cultural-historical events, objects and images in new subjective narratives, which form the framework for research that moves between the sculptural and the picturesque. For Orientering she has created a sculptural installation where two different times meet; the slow action of scanning an illustration of a prehistoric landscape, and the image formation of fossil depictions on material found in and around the museum garden.”
